Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity Christmas Party
On Friday, 30 November 2007, Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity brought over 500 seriously ill children from hospitals and hospices across the London area to the Roundhouse in Camden town for action-packed afternoon of festive fun. Rays of Sunshine pulled out all the stops to make sure these inspirational children had an afternoon they wouldn’t forget.
The Roundhouse was transformed into a children’s Christmas paradise. The party started with an opening show by Disney’s High School Musical. Entertainment included magicians, face painting, arts and crafts, disco and special guests such as Scooby Doo, Barbie and SpongeBob and Dora the Explorer.
Kooky Cookies were delighted to help out with a cookie decorating stand, which proved very popular with both the children and their carers!
